IAM Architect

About the position IAM Architect within Atea

Atea Digital Services (ADS) is Ateas internal IT function and acts as a strategic business partner and a natural enabler in Ateas own internal digitalization journey. We offer you an interesting and developing role among colleagues who help and support each other. Within ADS, we work across national borders and support Ateas organization on the internal digitalization journey. Our team are in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and the Baltic States

Your role in the team

As IAM architect at Atea you will play a crucial role in enhancing our IAM maturity. You will assess the current state of our IAM processes, develop a strategic roadmap, and make recommendations for building a robust IAM strategy. Key responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the current IAM maturity and identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement an IAM strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Design and oversee the implementation of IAM solutions, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Collaborate with IT Security and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM processes and policies while ensuring compliance with security standards, regulations, and internal policies related to identity management and access controls
• Assess, recommend and implement continous improvement process for authentication mechanisms, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions
• Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices
• Conduct regular access reviews and audits to maintain compliance and security standards
• Drive IAM governance and risk management

As IAM architect, you are a person who takes responsibility for your area, structures your work independently and drives your processes forward. You can communicate effectively with wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in the role, we see the following skills and experience as necessary:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an IAM Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing IAM solutions. Exprience with international and complex organisations is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, tools, and best practices, including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, MFA, SSO, and federation
• Experience with IAM systems such as Active Directory, MS Entra ID, LDAP, and other relevant technologies
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to IAM, such as GDPR, NIS2 and ISO 27001
• Experience and knowledge with Sivis Identity and Access Management is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
