Join us in the role of contributing to the continued growth of Kuehne+Nagel in Sweden through generating new business opportunities throughout Sweden ! Your Role As Sales Executive – Sea Logistics, you will generate new business opportunities with a focus on SME customers, using your up to date and in-depth knowledge of the Sea Logistics market and operations. You will predominantly spend your time with customer-facing activities as you hunt for new business and work closely with the Customer Care Team for your customers, ensuring a smooth transition to implementation within operations. Your Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on small and medium sized customers and build and own a healthy pipeline of customers within Sweden
  • Take pricing decisions in collaboration with the Customer Care Manager in alignment with the Trade Management/Pricing recommendations
  • Act as point of contact to the customer and inform our customers about our main Sea Logistics products
  • Prepare and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations, negotiations and contracts
  • Collaborate with the Customer Care team and Operational Care team and ensure proper handover of customer to operations in line with customers’ requirements
  • Develop customer relationships and add value to new and existing customers supply chain
  • Perform the related CRM tasks/activities, ensuring that customer information is kept up to date
  • Regularly travel to customers throughout Sweden

Your Skills and Experiences
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in freight forwarding sales role preferably with a focus on Sea Logistics
  • Knowledge of the Swedish Sea Logistics Market is a great advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Effective presentation and customer relations skills
  • The ability to proactively pursue leads, negotiate effectively, and close deals is fundamental.
  • Goal oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated to produce results
  • Open to learning about new services, technologies, and industry trends
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
  • Driver’s License (B) is mandatory
