Production Team Lead for The Barn - Solna

Are you an experienced team lead with a solid background as producer of commercial film projects? Do you have a passion for maximizing productivity and ensuring smooth workflows? Join us at The Barn, Arlas in-house agency, as our new Production Team Lead.

As Team Lead you will take on a people manager responsibility and plan for, coach and lead the inhouse production team, when crafting campaigns for brands such as Arla Ko, Yoggi, Yalla, Kvibille and Svenskt Smör. You will also act as senior producer in projects.

About The Barn

The Barn was established in 2018 and is part of a global organization that connects Arlas in-house agencies in Sweden, Denmark, England, Germany, and Dubai.

Taking on both strategic and tactical assignments, we create communication for various channels; from TV, OOH and social media campaigns to in-store materials, food inspiration, and the content on the back of our milk cartons. How you will make an impact

As Production Team Lead you will play an important role in the future development of The Barn in Sweden, running the day-to-day production operations. You´ll be overall responsible for creative delivery and ways of working in the production phase in our campaign projects, from pre-production to shoot, post and delivery. All in close collaboration with Head of Creative, project managers and creatives. The production team consists of five team members; both producers and specialists such as DoP, content creator and motion designer.

This role is 50% operational and you will take on the role of senior producer in campaign projects, along side the team lead responsibility.

Key responsibilities:

• Overall responsible of resource planning in the production team
• People manager responsibility – motivate and support the team in setting and reaching their goals
• Lead and develop the production team to ensure high quality delivery, high level of creative work and projects produced in best possible way
• Senior producer role in campaign projects of various complexity, both brand building and tactical, e g TVC:s and Social Media campaigns
• Ensure execution of the creative vision in projects, and secure channel-led best across all social and digital channels
• Identify and build new partnerships with agencies, production houses and freelance specialists
• Negotiate contracts, estimate costs and manage freelance budget
• Contribute to fulfilling the strategic and creative intentions to deliver on the business objectives of our internal clients

In this position you will be reporting to the Head of The Barn.

What will make you successful

You have an excellent understanding of the production phase of commercial campaign projects and are an experienced leader of creative teams. You are well versed with processes, resource planning tools, workflows and methodologies, and know how to efficiently fulfill the creative intention.

You hold the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as producer producing 360 commercial campaigns, with focus on film production and leadership of extensive campaign production projects
• Experience of team leadership from an agency or production house
• Excellent resources and capacity management skills, to manage workflow and pipeline optimization
• Show strong creative sense turning creative ideas into creatives assets
• Communication excellence in digital and social media – knowledge of best practice for creative solutions, digital formats, measurement of effect and set KPI:s
• Curious of new ways of working and new production techniques
• Experience in managing production partners, directors and suppliers, including negotiation skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with both The Barn team, freelancers and stakeholders
• Cost control & business sense to ensure efficient projects, within budget and deadline
• Appreciate collaboration with others, share your worldview, learnings and observations, and take active part in building a creative and supportive culture
• Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English, both spoken and written
