Valmet Mechanical Pulping and Fiberboard Product Line is now looking for a Sales Engineer to our team in Sundsvall, delivering equipment and engineering to the Pulp & Paper and Fiberboard industry. As a Sales Engineer, you will be one of the key players in our sales team. Job description Your main task will be to develop innovative and competitive technical process solutions, work with quotation documentation, and finalize the technical offer. As a Sales Engineer, you will also participate in customer meetings presenting our technical offer and products to our customers. You will work closely together with Sales Managers and Cost Estimates, as well as our engineering departments. Valmet in Sundsvall have the global product responsibility for the mechanical pulping and fiberboard technologies within Valmet. We work closely together with our market areas, hence, the work will include international contacts and travelling. Expectations:
To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following background, competences, and abilities:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changes and work independently to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across various functions
• Ability to balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities
• Excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing. Other languages could be a merit.
• Easy to adopt to other cultures and people with different backgrounds globally
• Experience from the pulp and paper industry is beneficial
• Experience from project sales work is a strong merit
