As a Junior C++ Developer within the Engine Core team, youll play a pivotal role in enhancing Qliks data analytics products. Dive deep into the core components of our calculation engine, driving innovation and efficiency in processing vast data quantities. What makes this role interesting?

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Product Enhancement: Design, develop, and maintain functionality within the Analytic Engine component, directly influencing the capabilities and performance of our products.
• Collaborative Development: Engage in the full software development cycle, from requirements analysis to delivery and maintenance, working closely with senior architects, tech leads, and product management to ensure the right architecture and design for implementations.
• Mentor Team Members: Share your expertise and mentor colleagues in best practices and standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Passion for Backend Programming: Bring your enthusiasm for backend programming and a solid foundation in C++ development to the table, driving innovation in our core engine.
• Technical skill ready to deploy: Familiarity with Python (and ready to learn and expand your toolset!), Cloud and containerization in Docker and Kubernetes, APIs, Microservices and Test Driven Development.
• Curiosity and Drive: Be curious, self-driven, and goal-oriented, constantly seeking ways to enhance our products and processes.
• Strong Communication: Communicate effectively within a diverse, multicultural team, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
