About the position

As E-commerce Copywriter you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Maurten tone of voice across the brand’s e-commerce landscape. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Communications, you will be an integral part of all e-comm projects and will work closely with the Senior Copywriter to always ensure consistency of copy, tone of voice, and brand values. You bring a foundation of solid, demonstrable digital experience — a knowledge of current cross-channel best practice — together with a gift for writing, an eye for grammatical detail, and a keen creative flair.

Job responsibilities

  • Working with the wider digital team and the creative department to develop and mature the lead-generating Maurten ad strategy. Ensuring that it not only talks to the right target audience but always upholds the values of the Maurten tone of voice.
  • Deliver succinct, high-performance copy for landing pages, ensuring alignment with the KPIs and sales goals for each campaign.
  • Play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of future digital platform projects that both nurture and grow the Maurten consumer base.
  • Manage the day-to-day translation of copy across the Maurten digital landscape and markets, ensuring timely delivery to meet campaign or content deadlines.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of the Maurten newsletter and email flow strategy across brand partners.
  • Deliver copy that supports the growth of Maurten.com and external online accounts.
  • Support the Performance Marketing Manager to grow the Maurten Affiliate Scheme with directional copy for that strategy.
Support the development of third-party collaborations that engage with existing customers and contribute towards new customer acquisition targets.


    This is who you are:

    We are seeking a candidate who brings a blend of innovative strategic thinking and creativity. You have a track record that demonstrates malleability for delivering the right tone of voice, specifically in the e-commerce arena, with the initiative to bring new ideas to the table that challenge the status quo.

    Your copywriting skills and attention to detail are proven, but your communication skills extend beyond talking to customers via your keyboard. In sync with a fast-paced, growing brand you also have quick feet, capable of pivoting and solving problems at short notice. Working across different teams requires honed interpersonal skills — we collaborate on projects daily, across time zones and cultures.



    The right candidate would also meet the following requirements:

    • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role at brand or creative agency level.
    • Demonstrate examples and understanding of how your copy has added value to the customer experience.
    • Demonstrate examples of how your copy has improved sales conversion.
    • Fluent English speaker with a strong understanding of the linguistic nuances.
    • Based in Gothenburg.
    • You know sport and understand the nutrition landscape.
    • Experience with Figma, Adobe, and Microsoft Office.
