Commercial Analyst - Technology

Were on the hunt for a Commercial Analyst to join our Strawberry Technology department. Its a brand-new role, and youll be a key player on our IT Sourcing and Vendor Management team. This is a super exciting opportunity to be part of a department thats leading a major transformation!

What you will be doing:

The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure that Strawberry Technology has a strong understanding of its financials and to support leads in making decisions based on financial data.

• Commercialization of Technology services: Apply a commercial mindset to strategically package Technology services, aiming to attract additional franchises while upholding profitability.
• Service Catalog enhancement: Take ownership of the content within the Strawberry service catalog for Technology services delivered to hotels and HQ, and coordinate with Service owners
• Result analysis: Prepare, analyze and present actual results and forecasts to take informed decisions
• Model development: Develop new and improve existing models/analysis
• Data-driven decision support for tech procurement: Aggregate information from diverse sources, present insightful data to guide decision making in close collaboration with finance, analytics & procurement-teams
• Supporting our sourcing process to fit requirements of cost reduction, efficiency, and sustainability in accordance with company guidelines and policy’s.
• Continuous improvement: Actively seek opportunities for process optimization within financial workflow to drive efficiency and accuracy

Who we think you … :

• Have a solid business understanding, with an analytical mindset
• Are structured and proactive
• Have an understanding of system/product management within IT.
• If you also have experience in service delivery and/or projects within complex system environments that would be desirable
• Are data-driven decision-maker with a commercial perspective
• Have the ability to collaborate efficiently within cross-functional matrix
• Are an effective communicator with the ability to explain complex issues in a simplified manner
• Proficiency in any Nordic language

We think you have:

• Higher education in economics/finance or a related field
• 2-4 years relevant work experience with focus on financial tasks
• Proficient in financial modeling using excel, familiarity with reporting tools as Tableau or PowerBI is preferred
• Knowledge of procurement contract negotiations and pricing is an advantage.

You will report to the Vendor Manager in the Tech department. You will travel frequently between our main offices in Stockholm and Oslo.

We do not offer a remote position, you will need to be based in our office in Stockholm.
