Primary Skill (Technical Skill) Windows Packaging MSI
Secondary Skill (optional) Windows 7, 10, 11, SCCM
Experience Level 4 – 6 Years Role & Responsibilities:
  • Re-packaging of applications and software distribution
  • Work on tools like Flexera, Install Shield, Wise Packaging Studio and Windows Installer
  • Work on bug tracking tools, package versioning and package life cycle managing tools
  • Analyze an solve technical problems
  • Provide technical consultancy and solution support to team in related area of technology
  • Troubleshoot on resolve complex packaging issues
  • Develop best practices / process documents in collaboration with the team
  • Handle all technical customer escalations
Technical Skills (Core & Top-Up):
  • 4-8 years’ experience in re-packaging vendor applications.
  • Should be well versed with end-to-end application packaging process
  • Must have knowledge on application re-packaging, application compatibility testing and software distribution based on MSI, App-V etc.
  • Experience in process automation
  • Proficient in Win 7 & Win 10, 11 operating systems and good knowledge of file systems and registries
  • Proficient in toolsets as Wise Package Studio, Flexera, Install Shield, SCCM.
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge is required · Proficient in application compatibility tool kit
  • Experience in VB scripting
  • Remediating compatibility issues in Win 7 / Win 10, 11
  • Cross functional skills in workplace engineering space
  • Strong domain knowledge of end user workplace management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Pro-active approach, strong team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills including critical thinking, analysis, negotiation, ability to work well under pressure and work on multiple projects
  • Hands-on experience on re-packaging of applications and software distribution
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools, package versioning and package life cycle managing tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Should be a quick learner
  • Proficient in ITIL frame work
  • Experience in re-packaging complex applications
Process & Tools
  • Understanding & adherence to ITIL processes
