What’s in it for you

The main objective of the Factory Support Lead VCT is to govern the deliveries of the Factory Support service towards VCT (for the Factory On-Site scope) and the whole of Sweden (for the Factory Service Desk). This includes governing the day-to-day deliveries of technicians in close collaboration with the service provider, coaching and developing the technicians, working with continuous improvements, driving “shift left” from level 2 support teams, supporting incident resolution and overseeing change management activities.

This area of responsibility is mainly around the support of production critical factory systems and shopfloor equipment, using the ITIL processes Incident, Change and Problem. We are seeking a candidate to join our high energy, high performing IT team who is excited to use their unique skills to improve our delivery to the factories.


What you’ll do

  • Govern day to day operations of the Factory Service Desk (for Sweden) and Factory onsite support teams (for VCT)
  • Prioritization of work based upon business priorities
  • Assisting in high-priority incidents to resolution
  • Performing Incident, Problem and Change coordination
  • Review of metrics for SLA adherence and process improvements
  • Oversee Asset management and hardware lifecycle planning
  • Oversee patch management and security compliance
  • Coordinate with business counterparts to support new requirements
  • Coordinate with Level-2 support teams to continuously “shift left” of competence and tasks
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement activities
  • Participate in on-call rotation supporting multi-shift operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Be an active contributor in VCT IT Site Management Team

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science area or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in a digital field
  • ITIL process knowledge
  • Broad competence of different IT technologies (Infrastructure, Application, IT Security)
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow
  • Capability to build and maintain good business relationships
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in Swedish and English
  • Focused upon delivering results

This position is based in Gothenburg, Torslanda site.
