SAS Facility is embarking on an exciting journey. We have a significant need to streamline and develop our real estate portfolio and service offerings to meet the future needs of travelers. We are currently seeking a Facility Manager for the leading airline in the Nordic region.

We are looking for an individual who, in close collaboration with the Head of Facility, other responsible individuals at SAS Facility Sweden, property owners, users, and service partners, will drive the management of daily operations and construction projects in our facilities at the airport. You will be involved in developing energy and sustainability projects and representing SAS as a tenant to our external stakeholders.

Projects in our facilities vary widely; from the development of lounges, hangars, check-in areas, ticket offices, cargo reception, Crew Base, control centers to specialized workshops. All with a common goal – to create the best solutions for our customers and employees.

All phases of the project, including needs analysis, timelines, procurement, budget monitoring, and communication with users, architects, contractors, tenants, and authorities, are part of your daily tasks. You act as the client and handle contract negotiations with the relevant parties. Additionally, the position involves supporting and monitoring our external service partners, a broad spectrum of analytical work, and administration in the D & V system Plania.

• Space optimization
• Follow-up with our FM service partners
• Interaction with authorities

We expect you to have at least 5 years of experience in real estate management and project management. Our customers and users have diverse needs, and our primary task is to ensure that these needs are met with a sustainable and excellent result. This involves effective negotiation, high service levels, creativity, and an analytical mindset. Understanding our customer and market, along with the ability to think proactively during change, is crucial. You should have a post-secondary education with a degree in real estate management, construction technology, architecture, or a similar field. A valid drivers license (B category) is required.

SAS Facility Sweden manages approximately 100,000 square meters, leasing from various property owners. We are responsible for and administer all lease agreements, drive our renovations, expansions, and other construction-related projects for the business. Responsibilities range from larger technical management to pure tenant management, depending on the building. We also lease parts of our properties to external operators within our industry.

We are a well-knit team in Facility placed in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, working closely across Scandinavia. Locally, we collaborate with all local units and users.
