Cybersecurity Engineer

Short description (Role)

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our global Skanska Cybersecurity Team. The Cybersecurity Engineering Team is made up of individuals from around the Skanska world. The primary purpose of the team is to ensure the IT security of Skanska assets and data in line with business requirements, managing security tooling; and providing IT security consultancy and guidance to the wider business. The team covers all aspects of Security Engineering including Security Tool Engineering, Security Policies, Scripting and Automation, Threat Management, Security Design Standards, Security Architecture and Security Consultancy.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer you play a leading role in the development, implementation and compliance of security controls across the enterprise to protect the organization from threats and attacks and reduce risk to an acceptable level.

You will be responsible for:

• a minimum of 2 Security platforms/services as Subject Matter Expert
• participation in the creation, implementation and maintenance of technical design standards that are suitable for maintaining environments in accordance with cyber security policies
• participation in the implementation of the cyber security strategy and action plan
• creating and tracking of appropriate security metrics and KPI’s
• taking part in selection of and management of 3rd party suppliers / tooling that provide security services
• delivering cybersecurity service improvements
• planning and implementation of measures to support the business’s GDPR, ISO, Cyber Essentials and other compliance requirements
• taking part in security audits and compliance reviews

We are looking for you, if you:

• have a 3 to 5 years of related experience in Cybersecurity a number of the following;
• Cloud Security Expertise
• Azure & O365 Expertise
• Endpoint Security
• IPS / ISD / Firewalls and Content Filtering
• Data Security
• OT/IoT/ICS Security
• Vulnerability Management
• SIEM / Logging
• Security Testing
• Email Security
• a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in working with building, maintaining, and continuously improving modern cloud platforms
• GCED, GDSA, GCSA, GSLC, CISSP or equivalent Cybersecurity Certifications is nice to have
• experience designing and implementing Critical Security Controls
• understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• experience working with ISO 27001 and NIST
• English language at minimum B2 level, Czech or Polish is advantage
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• a team player approach and you can successfully working with others to achieve shared goal
