As the fintech industry continues to revolutionize the financial landscape, Zimpler is at the forefront, delivering innovative solutions that empower businesses and individuals. We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance Team. In this role you will be pivotal in all aspects of everything accounting from monthly reporting to annual reports as well as financial rules and regulations.

You will be based in Stockholm working closely with the accounting team in particular but stakeholders will also include the entire finance team and the rest of the Zimpler organization. As an Accountant you will have the opportunity to be a key player in making sure that our Accounting team performs on the highest level possible and producing top quality output.

This is what you’ll do

Diverse Bookkeeping: Manage various aspects of bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Responsible for Smaller Group Entities: Oversee financial matters for smaller group entities within the organization, ensuring their financial health and compliance.

Intercompany Reconciliations: Facilitate reconciliations between different entities within the organization to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Participate in Financial Processes: Be an integral part of revenue and transaction accounting, monthly closing procedures, and contribute to updated accounting policies.

Preparation for Audit: Prepare diligently for upcoming audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are in place for a smooth audit experience.

Annual Reports: Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive annual reports in accordance with K3 regulation, showcasing the financial performance of the organization.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheets, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.

This is what you’re good at

Previous Accounting Knowledge: Demonstrated experience and knowledge in accounting principles and practices.

Experience with Netsuite: Preferably experienced with Netsuite practice or similar accounting software.

Proficiency in Excel/Sheets: Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

Comfort with Large Volumes of Data: Ability to handle and process large volumes of financial data efficiently and accurately.
