RF systems engineer

We’re looking for an RF-subsystem engineer with a focus on integration and verification. You will join a highly skilled team working on the next generation of radar sensor platforms.

Your role

The department Antenna Core Platform is responsible for developing expertise and solutions to support Surveillance in becoming more modular, enabling faster time to market and achieve a more efficient development.

Today this team of 12 people are developing a platform that addresses these challenges. The department Antenna Core Platform will continue developing this platform but will also work proactively in defining new ones. The department Antenna Core Platform also work directly with customer specific needs within customer contracts.

As a member of Antenna Core Platform you will contribute to new technical solutions as well as you will develop your competence – in cooperation with highly skilled coworkers.

As a system engineer you will take part in all phases of the product development: inception, implementation proposals, cost estimates, systemization, integration, verification and industrialization.

Your profile

To be successful in the role we see that you have great communication skills, since you will have multiple stakeholders. You are well organized and well versed in writing technical documentation. You also have an interest and aptitude for working in a cross-disciplinary system context.

Required skills:

• M.Sc. degree in a relevant area (electrical engineering, engineering physics, applied mathematics or automation) preferably with a high frequency electronics, opto electronics, or microwave electronics profile
• Practical experience of integration and verification work in a lab environment, including working with advanced instrumentation and data analysis
• Programming skills in Python and/or Matlab

Desired skills

• Experience from designing RF/microwave subsystems and/or antennas
• Experience from advanced RF-, microwave or opto-electronic systems (i.e. radars, radio base stations, point-to-point radios or similar)
• In-depth experience from industry standard RF/microwave design tools such as Keysight ADS and/or Ansys HFSS (or similar)
• Experience from breaking down system requirements into requirements on lower-level functional blocks

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
