Global Product Manager

Within Essity’s business unit Health & Medical, we develop, manufacture, market and sell products and solutions within Incontinence, Wound care, Vascular and Orthopedics.

We are now looking for a Global Product Manager to join our team in Infection Management within Advanced Wound Care .

About the role:

Advanced Wound Care is a focus area within Essity, and as Global Product Manager you will play a key role in continuing to drive the success of our products in the Infection Management business area. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the development of marketing strategies, product development, and be an important part of customer relationships.

We are looking for someone who is not just an administrator but has experience and expertise in the field. You will be part of a top position in the industry and have the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally.

The position can be based in our office in Hamburg (Germany), Gothenburg (Sweden), or in Charlotte, Philadelphia or Manchester (USA). Remote working can also be an option.

Job description:

As the main point of contact for selected products in our Infection Management portfolio you will be responsible for product care, analysis, development, and positioning. You will work closely with other PMs to manage and develop our product range and define customer pain points to solve, and work in close contact with our markets and customers, as well as with our innovation projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for cost budget planning and take part in the creation of our global marketing 5-year plan.

What you will do:

• Main responsible for supporting the markets

• Drive the analysis of data to make sure we have the correct basis for decisions, in order to meet the needs of our customers

• Main responsible for system care

• From marketing perspective, In tandem with other PM support creation and management of claims

• In tandem with other PM be main responsible for concept development of selected indication

• Where applicable, collect and convey relevant information about customer needs, product use and competitors in order to be able to set priorities in product care, product development and product positioning

• In tandem with other PM, responsible for product management/ ownership of product range development and road map

• Selectively responsible for defining customer paint points to solve, customer insights

• Represents global marketing in product development projects

• Responsible for how to sell, indications and product training

• Own cost budget planning for your areas

• Supports creation of global marketing 5-year plan

Who you are:

We are looking for a driven and positive person with a "can-do" attitude for an important role within our team. You are a senior person who can handle high pace and be prominent in meetings with customers. It is important that you have an organized and structured approach to keep things in order.

• Experience in product management in Advanced Wound Care is a strong advantage, or alternatively, experience working with medical devices or pharma.

• Analytical skills with the ability to collect customer insights, define customer pain points and collect/analyze financial data

• Strategic ability and deep understanding of the product area and ability to effectively communicate their benefits

• Organized and structured approach to work, and excellent team player
