IMAGE QUALITY ENGINEER

Hasselblad is well-known for its image quality, and we want to further strengthen our team in Gothenburg, Sweden within image quality and processing. Therefore, we are looking for a talented individual who seeks new challenges and the stimulation of working with the latest technology. You will be working with our next generation cameras to further develop our uncompromising image quality. We are looking for a person with a strong interest in algorithms and software development within image processing and photography. You should be analytic and quality-conscious. You will be based at the headquarters in Gothenburg and work closely with the entire R&D team. You will also have contact with most of the departments within the company, both in Gothenburg and outside of Sweden.

• Evaluation of new sensors
• Development of sensor calibration
• Image processing algorithms
• Final validation of image quality
• Support of current cameras in our production and on the market when it comes to image quality

• Knowledge of the implications of sensor features on image quality
• Experience with sensor calibration
• Knowledge of color theory
• Basic understanding of the physics of image sensors (cmos)
• Experience with linux and version control
• Experience with C/C++/Python
• Interest in algorithms in an embedded environment
• Master/Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Personal interest in photography
